CADOA Prayer & Protest rallyDuring the campaign against the legalisation of abortion in Victoria in 2008, CADOA (Coalition Against Decriminalisation Of Abortion) ran an active campaign to oppose the decriminalisation of abortion in Victoria. CADOA was set up in the lead up to the Victorian election held in 2006, alerting the public and Christians about the likelihood of the Labor government decriminalising abortion if they were re-elected. They were re-elected - and they legalised abortion. That's a story for another page... During the 2008 campaign against the decriminalisation of abortion, CADOA held a prayer/rally/protest meeting on the steps of the Victorian Parliament on Sunday 5 October... Between 3,000 and 4,000 people attended the rally to hear messages and pray against the Abortion Law Reform Bill being passed by the Legislative Council. Peter videoed the 1 hour event and prepared 3 films each of 10 minutes. Just click on the image to play each video!
