Books on gender identity and transsexualism
Transsexuality: A Report by the Evangelical Alliance Policy Commission This is a thorough but compact investigative book (87 pages) which defines transsexualism and its associated issues. It discusses possible causes for this behaviour, an ethical and biblical perspective and how the church can respond in dealing with this concern. A summary/review of this book, by Jennifer Catherine, was published in our February 2002 Journal. This book is available from SALT SHAKERS at a cost of A$13 plus $2 postage.
My Genes made me do it: A scientific look at sexual orientation By Neil and Briar Whitehead A biological analysis which looks at genetics and what produces sexual identity. The book also forms conclusive evidence that does not support current views on genetic determinisation. Review on the NARTH site- click here. This excellent book is available for DOWNLOAD - FREE!
