2008 International Conference on Climate Change - Manhattan Declaration
The 2008 International Conference on Climate Change was held inNew York at the beginning of March (2-4). More than 500 people attended the conference including scientists, economists, scholars, and policy analysts. The Conference was sponsored by the Heartland Institute and co-sponsored by 50 other organisations.
At the conclusion of the conference, they released The Manhattan Declaration, which says that "There is no convincing evidence that CO2 emissions from modern industrial activity has in the past, is now, or will in the future cause catastrophic climate change."

Endorsements Endorsements for the Manhattan Declaration are being collected by the International Climate Science Coalition (ICSC).
The endorsements are in three sections: 1. Scientists in climate-related disciplines who attended the conference. 2. Individuals "all well-trained in science and technology or climate change-related economics and policy who did not attended the conference". 3. Members of the public who support the Declaration.
