Change is possible

Yes, change is possible. It is possible to leave the homosexual lifestyle.Man confused

In fact, many people have done so. Of course, some people don't want to change - no-one can force someone to do so. However, for those who want to change there is help available - and many people who have made the change.

Many people don't want to dwell on the past - they want to get on with life.

However, others have gone on to run ministries to help those who want to get out of homosexuality.

We know men and women who used to be homosexual. Some are now married with families.

Two people who had once lived in the homosexual or lesbian life but are now married (not to each other!) and Christian pastors were the guest speakers at our Annual Dinner in 2009.

Whilst change is possible, it is not always easy. Jesus Christ certainly helps in our transformation to wholeness.

This page lists some resources and links to stories of people who used to be homosexual and are now heterosexual.

The 'straight' scoop - 2 years later
WorldNetDaily, October 08, 2009 - By Michael Glatze
"Time heals all wounds."
"In my case, this statement is true. Some might remember that, over two years ago, I "came out" against homosexuality, having lived a "gay" lifestyle and been the editor of a gay youth magazine, as well as a relatively vocal political fighter for gay causes. I wrote about my seeing the light here in WorldNetDaily, which spawned additional articles here and in other media, and quite a bit of media attention in general....."

Doug Houck

Doug Houck left the homosexual lifestyle and later began Metanoia Ministries. In the following article he highlights the problem of claiming and retaining a homosexual 'orientation'.

Orientation: Psychological and Theological Dead End by Doug Houck
In this article, Doug describes how he left the homosexual lifestyle but felt trapped when told by Christians that he had to accept a homosexual 'orientation'. Only when he realised he could remove this 'identity' and focus on Christ did he find real freedom.
