September 2008

19 September 2008 - Prayer for missing children
An international group has been set up to pray for missing and exploited children. The Madeleine Prayer group was sparked by concern for the welfare of Madeleine McCann, the 5 year-old UK girl who went missing in Portugal in May 2007.

The group invites people to pray for her return, and the return of other missing children. The second prayer day is on 19 September 2008 - from 1.00 - 2.00 pm and 10.30- 11.30pm.

13 September - Salt Shakers Annual Dinner

8th August - 080808 - Your Kingdom Come
On Friday 8 August - a national celebration in Parliament House, Canberra to "Rejoice, Give Thanks and Pray" for Christ's Kingdom to come.
Meetings at Parliament House. Dinner in the evening at Parliament House.
PLUS a conference at Greenhills on Saturday 9 - Sunday 10 August.
Peter and Jenny are attending and will be presenting two of the seminar sessions.

"Uniting in the name of the Author of Life on behalf of Life"
Sunshine Coast Christian Churches are holding a 'LIFE Expo' of people and groups involved in pro-life issues.
Senator Ron Boswell will be speaking along with representatives from local groups.
The proposal to "decriminalize abortion" in Queensland will be outlined by Geoffrey Bullock of Festival of Light.
