Missing and exploited children

Many children around the world are missing and exploited... some are stolen, some are 'trafficked' for forced labour or prostitution, some are killed and others just disappear.

An international prayer group has been formed to pray for these children.

The Madeleine Prayer Circle was sparked by concern for the welfare of Madeleine McCann, the 5 year-old UK girl who went missing in Portugal in May 2007.

The group invites people to pray for her return, and the return of other missing children. They held their first prayer day in August 2008 and a larger one on 19 September 2008.

In 2009, they held the International Day of Prayer for Madeleine and all Missing Children on Sunday, May 3, 2009.

2010 - International Day of Prayer for Madeleine and all Missing Children

The 2010 Prayer Day will be held on the first weekend in May - Saturday 1 or Sunday 2 May, 2010.

Please participate either individually or in your churches and prayer groups - praying for the safe return of missing and exploited children.
