A busy weekend

Last weekend was the annual Salt Shakers Dinner - a good time was had by all those attending.

Dr Stuart Robinson spoke on 'The Challenge of Islam' - the nature and history of Islam itself - and the need for Christians to reach out to Muslims with friendship and the gospel.
His booklet 'The Challenge of Islam' contains the material from his presentation - it is available from our office - $7 posted.

In the introduction to his booklet he writes "Western Christian leaders, preoccupied with their own domestic issues, mostly don't understand. Some hope the whole issue will go away".
We could say the same about the issue of homosexuality.

The second event was the launch of Bill Muehlenberg's book 'Strained Relations: The Challenge of Homosexuality' on Sunday afternoon. Bill's book contains a wealth of data and quotes about homosexual behaviour, the homosexual agenda, same-sex 'marriage', adoption, discrimination and more.
Part 2 of the book is about the theological issues - and Bill concludes with the personal stories of two people who were homosexual but who have now found wholeness and freedom through Jesus Christ.
Bill's book is essential reading if you want to know why homosexuality is such a big issue today and how to address the issue.
