Senator Fielding and climate change
Senator Steve Fielding has been investigating 'climate change' - he went to the USA last week and attended the Heartland Institute's International Conference in Washington - of scientists and others who dispute the notion of global warming. Click here for conference details. He also spoke to the White House advisor on climate change - he has also spoken to 'sceptic' scientist Ian Plimer.
Senator Fielding wrote a feature article in The Australian yesterday explaining his trip, his thoughts on the sun causing warming, and his discussions with scientists. He asks "Why didn't anyone tell me?" It looks as though he is not inclined to support and vote for the government's Emissions Trading Scheme- which is good news!
