Transgender children

We were saddened to see the episode of 60 Minutes a week or two ago. The story called My Secret Self showed an 8-year-old child named Jazz.

Jazz was born a boy, but when Jazz wanted to wear dresses and play with Barbies at the age of two, the parents decided to allow her to be a GIRL!

The reporter interviews Jazz, her parents and the therapist who says Jazz has 'a boy body and a girl brain' - something that Jazz now repeats....

Of course there is no such thing - no scientific evidence.

The path ahead trying to be a girl will be very hard... unfortunately, in a society that increasingly says you can choose what you want to be this is becoming more common.

The introduction to the interview says
"Your natural reaction is how could they? How could someone so young possibly make such a complex decision? That's certainly what Liz Hayes thought, but why don't you meet this unusual family, then see what you think."

That's the problem - hear the story and be swayed by the 'compassion'.

But that's not the answer. God made male and female and it isn't something we can change or choose.
