Population control - and the Vic election

With the sort of policies being proposed - and adopted - by governments and lobby groups, our society is being changed forever.

Court decisions are also altering how society operates...

This week, a poll found that one in three Australians believe families should be LIMITED to having two children.
It might be one thing to encourage families to have only two children (although why should governments be interfering and telling people what they can do in this area of life?) but to LIMIT them to two children brings up the thought of coercive policies like China's 'one-child' policy.
That begs the question, 'What happens if the couple is pregnant with a third child?' In China, they often force them to have an abortion!

The Herald Sun reports on this as well - and asks the question

Should Australian families be limited to just two children?

Have your say - VOTE NOW!

Of course this isn't a new idea... a UK doctor recently proposed it as a way to tackle 'climate change' and forums have discussed it for some time.
In April 2010, a new Australian political party, the Stop Population Growth Now party, proposed such a policy!

Meanwhile Victoria is facing an election on November 27. . .

The Australian reports on a survey showing that support for the Brumby government has declined to 35%, the Coalition's support has risen four points to 40% - but the Greens support has increased to 19%. Read report on the survey results.

The place where this increased Greens support will be most significant is in inner Melbourne seats.

We pointed out in our analysis of Labor's BIG packages of promises to the homosexual community - click here for our front page report - that the Labor Party is trying to appeal to 'Greens voters' in the inner city!
This survey shows why they are so worried!
