A busy year ahead . . .

It's already the start of February - we were at the office for the first part of January and have now just returned after hosting relatives from the UK for the past two weeks.

Already so much is happening... here's just a sample of some recent news and the challenges ahead!

1. New Premier for Tasmania

Lara Giddings has been appointed as the new Premier for Tasmania. Shes a 'founding member' of Emily's List and in recent months has promoted surrogacy, euthanasia, reform of the 'sex industry' and a Charter of Rights! Read our report - click here.

2. UK couple found 'guilty' of discriminating

Christian couple Peter and Hazelmary Bull have been found guilty of discriminating - and FINED - for not allowing a male homosexual couple to stay in a double room in their guest house in Cornwall (which is also their OWN HOME). For many years they have only rented double rooms to MARRIED couples!
The judge acknowledged that their own religious rights were being trampled on... 
The couple plans to appeal against the decision.

The Fall of the Strongmen- Daniel Greenfield writes about the Islamists and the Muslim Brotherhood and their role in trying to topple Mubarak.

After Mubarack- Back in July 2010, Robert Spencer revealed that Mubarak had terminal stomach cancer and warned that violent unrest could occur in Egypt after his death. It seems the people haven't waited for Mubarak's death. In the article Spencer warned that the Muslim Brotherhood could try to take power in Egypt.
