So much is going on....

1. Carbon dioxide tax - or 'oxygen tax'
All the news about the carbon dioxide tax and Julia Gillard's previous promise NOT to bring one in...
Labor, and particularly Julia Gillard, are down in the opinion polls. Support for the Labor government is at just 30% - and Julia Gillard's 'dissatisfaction rating is just over 50% for the first time. Read media report.

By the way, 'Why an 'oxygen tax'?' Tim Blair notes that CO2 is two parts oxygen to one part carbon....

2. Wesley case decided - church can ban homosexual foster carers
In the past we have reported on the Wesley Missioncase in NSW - two homosexuals took a case of discrimination against Wesley Mission when they were refused a foster care child.

The homosexuals won the case initially but Wesley appealed.
The appeals court sent the case back to the Tribunal. The Tribunal then re-assessed the case and found in favour of Wesley and the complaint was dismissed. The decision was announced on 10 December 2010.

3. NSW terror threat and crime
A top NSW policeman has said that the police are currently investigating 12 actual terror threats in NSW - read article... click here.
Andrew Bolt writes on this issue today - click here - and reminds us that he has previously spoken of the problems in his column on Feb 19, 2011 titled  Shouting "racism" won't fix this problem".
He notes that that the real problem isn't racism - he says that there is a problem of "Muslim integration".
Andrew then discusses the increase in 'ethnic crime' in NSW. . .
