1. Liberty of Conscience
Dr Lachlan Dunjey, founder of Medicine with Morality. was a speaker at the 8th Annual Christian Medical Conference in Brisbane, Australia, that took place June 11-12, 2011. The theme of the Conference was 'Spirituality and Medicine'.

Lachlan spoke on 'Liberty of Conscience'and highlighted the removal of conscience for doctors under the Victorian Abortion Law reform Act. Read about Lachlan's speech at the conference - click here.

2. GetUp!, Animals Australia and RSPCA
What do they have in common?
They are all joining together in a campaign to try and BAN the live export of animals from Australia.
Animals Australia and RSPCA have organised a website called 'Ban Live Export' and a National Week of Action (here).
GetUp! has organised a campaign to ban live exports - they have a petition (currently has more than 240,000 signatures) and they are commending the 'Ban Live Export' campaign.

3. Tasmania - Surrogacy Bill
The Tasmanian Legislative Council has sent the Surrogacy Bill to a Committee for inquiry and report - the intent of this is to scrutinise the provisions in the Bill - not to decide if there should be laws relating to surrogacy...

4. Abby Johnson visiting Australia
Abby Johnson used to work for Planned Parenthood - at an abortion clinic. Now she supports life and opposes abortion. She has written the book UnPLANNED.
