Lots of news... here's some highlights...
1. Global warming - and the sun
The latest evidence, from CERN - the European Organization for Nuclear Research, from their CLOUD experiment, is that the sun really does have an incredible influence on the earth's climate. In particular, the sun and cosmic rays have an impact on the formation of clouds - cosmic rays promote the formation of molecules that in Earth’s atmosphere can grow and seed clouds.

2. Islam - Do we worship the same God?
In a word, the answer is NO.
Mark Durie, the author of Revelation, reviews a book by theologian Miroslav Volk.
Mark writes...

3. Halal food
Have you noticed how more and more foods are labelled 'halal'?
This means they are certified by Muslim authorities (or businesses) to tell Muslims they are suitable for them to eat - the companies pay a FEE for this 'certification'!
Many companies have their foods 'halal certified' but don't actually tell us they have done that! For instance, Nestle, Devondale and Parmalat have many of their food 'halal certified' but don't tell the consumer!

4. Bill Muehlenberg's book on homosexuality
Bill has been working on this book for nearly 20 years. Titled Strained Relations, Bill provides a thorough analysis of the important issue of homosexuality.
He writes "OK, so why does a guy spend nearly 20 years working on a book which will never become a bestseller, will never make a lot of money (or even a little money), and will only result in a lot of grief, misery, and persecution?
