Marriage and the harm of pornography...

1. Girl wins court decision over forced marriageMan_and_woman_married_SX_1038218_66480936_320x200
A 16 year old Lebanese Muslim girl has won a court decision - she asked the court to put her on an 'airport watch list' to stop her leaving Australia, because her parents had tried to send her to Lebanon for a forced arranged marriage.

The girl went to the Federal Magistrates Court, which ruled that she should not be allowed to leave Australia (thus preventing the marriage). The magistrate commented on her bravery in taking the matter to court - especially given her Islamic culture and the fact that she was going against her parents' authority. The magistrate ordered that the parents not assault, molest, harass or otherwise intimidate the girl.
